Only the best quality Hyogo Yamada Nishiki rice (the king of sake-brewing rice) is used and the rice grains are milled down to 35% of the original size. (The more you mill the rice, the better the sake will be.) Enjoy the exquisite harmony of the elegant aroma and rich and deep flavor of our finest sake. Minosuke, was created in 2000 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mikinosuke Kawaishi's birth. Mikinosuke Kawaishi, a younger brother of our founder, was a master of Japanese judo and known worldwide as `the Father of Judo in France.’

This is `Nama-zake,’ an unpasteurized sake, which is characterized by a fresh and lively fragrance. MISA has a distinctive sweet flavor yet the finish is crisp and dry.
